As an educator for 14 years, I always yearned to show others the joy and beauty of the world and its people. This passion only grew when it came to homeschooling, my own daughter. Throughout the years, we have embarked on many amazing adventures together. From a family road trip cross-country from New Mexico to Tybee Island, Georgia to numerous Disneyland visits and a wonderful week away to see our favorite band in Seattle, Washington.
For me, traveling is more than just seeing beautiful locations. It’s about enjoying the culture, people, cuisine, and nature around you. Fully embracing a community; its values, traditions, and customs is one of the greatest experiences in travel. When was the last time you allowed yourself to live like a local?
